Beyond the emphasis on aesthetics, another area of difference with the Bio Bidet A8 is the degree of customization and control it gives the user.  Nearly every feature of the bidet can be fine-tuned to fit your preferences.  Of course you can adjust things like water temperature, water pressure, and spray position.  But with the A8 you can also adjust the spray thru the aeration feature, which aerates (adds bubbles) to the water stream.  Aerating the stream also widens the spray providing an increased coverage area.  After washing, the customizable warm air dryer comes in handy.  While other bidets allow you to change the temperature of the warm air dry, they do not allow you to adjust the strength of the fan.  The A8 comes with a dual-speed air dryer which accelerates drying time.  Sights and sounds on the bidet can be controlled too.  The night light can be adjusted to be lighter or darker.  The audible chime when pressing buttons on the remove control can be turned on or off.

And to cap it off - also included are two user presets, where you can program the bidet to store user preferences for multiple users.  This level of user-control is unprecedented, and shows how far bidet seat development has come.

So how do you incorporate all this customization?  Through the remote control of course!  The Bio Bidet A8 features a double-sided remote control where buttons are found on the front and the back.  On the front of the remote you'll find the most commonly used buttons such as wash, dry and stop.  On the back, you'll find all the adjustment features which control water temperature, water pressure, spray position, heated seat temperature, air dry strength and more.  The two-sided design allows for a cleaner, less-cluttered front.  Once you set your preferences thru the back, you typically leave them that way.  This means you'll primarily work the front of the remote once your preferences are assigned.
