Bio Bidet BB 600 Review

This bidetsPLUS bidet review features the Bio Bidet BB 600 from Bio Bidet.  Operated with an attached control panel, the BB 600 represents great value but still comes with the excellent Bio Bidet brand and reputation.  Fully featured, this bidet seat is sure to upgrade any bathroom.

Note:  You'll see a square piece of paper on the toilet seat in some of the scenes of this Bio Bidet BB 600 review video.  This paper was dampened slightly with water to activate the seat sensor, so we could demonstrate bidet functions.

Design

From the top, there is a raised profile in the middle of the lid, with a recessed profile around the edges.   There is a grey bar across the rear of the unit which has the Bio Bidet logo centered in the middle.  The lid also has a notch in the front which aids in getting the seat up.

According to manufacturer specifications, the unit measures 18.3 inches wide, including the control panel in the measurement.  But if you exclude the control panel, the body itself is closer to 16 inches wide.  The elongated seat model measures 20.5 inches long, while the round seat model measures 19.2 inches long.

The control panel is located on the right side as you sit on the unit.  The water intake hose connects to the unit on this (right) side as well.

The left side of the bidet is plain, as there are no buttons or other features to note on this side.  Instead of having a release button, the Bio Bidet BB 600 can be removed from its mounting bracket by raising the front of the unit slightly, and the unit will slide right off.  The power cord for the BB 600 is centered in the rear of the unit so you have the option to swing the cord either to the left, or the right side.  We also note in this Bio Bidet BB 600 review that the unit is 5.6 inches in height at its tallest point in the rear, and weighs 10 pounds.

Control Panel

The control panel is easy to use with large, easy to read buttons that aren’t clustered too close together.  The white background of the control panel blends in nicely with the rest of the unit.  The control panel has all the standard functions you’d expect in a bidet, with some additional features we’ll go over as well.

Bidet Functions

We note in this Bio Bidet BB 600 review that the unit works with a dual nozzle, single pocket system, with the two nozzles stacked on top of each other inside the unit.  The nozzle on top handles posterior wash while the nozzle below is for feminine wash.

Nozzle position can be adjusted to your liking.  Water pressure and water temperature can be increased or decreased as well.  The bidet has both oscillation and massage features.  The oscillation feature moves the nozzle back and forth which widens the cleaning area.  And the massage feature works by pulsating the water stream.  The oscillation and massage feature can be used together too, so you can use them both at the same time.  The oscillation and pulsation features are available for both posterior and feminine washes.

The Bio Bidet BB 600 also has an auto feature which activates a 20 second oscillation, immediately followed by a 20 second air dry.  Basically, it starts a clean and dry cycle in one button.  We note that 20 seconds of air may not be enough to get you completely dry, but it can be a convenient feature if those time intervals work for you.

Additional Features

The Bio Bidet BB 600 features a slow closing seat and lid.  There is also a convenient air dry with two different air dry settings, so you can decrease your drying time by adjusting the setting.  Additional features include a temperature controlled heated seat, a child mode for children, and a self cleaning function which rinses off the nozzles before and after each use.  The bidet also has an energy saving feature, which decreases the unit’s energy consumption.
