Brondell Swash vs. Bio Bidet

landing on two excellent models: the Brondell Swash 1400 and the Bio Bidet BB 2000. Both bidets are superb, and both will give users a world-class cleaning along with plenty of luxurious bells and whistles. In this article, we will discuss their similarities and their minor differences, hopefully helping you choose which bidet model is best suited for you.

Similarities between Brondell Swash 1400 and Bio Bidet 2000
Let’s start with the similarities: both the Brondell Swash 1400 and the Bio Bidet BB 2000 use a tankless, on-demand water heating system that provides continuous warm water. This constant warm water flow is notable because with some lesser bidets with reservoir tank heating, you will run out of warm water after about 45 seconds and have to make do with cold water, which can be a bit jarring. Not so with these high-end models. Both the Brondell Swash 1400 and the Bio Bidet also offer adjustable water pressure, adjustable water temperature, and adjustable spray position. They also both offer a heated toilet seat, an automatic air deodorizer, a slow-closing lid that will never slam shut, night lights, and a built-in warm air dryer – which is a bonus if you want or need a completely hands-free wash.

Differences between Brondell Swash 1400 and Bio Bidet 2000
In terms of differences, let’s start with the design. Both the Brondell Swash 1400 and the Bio Bidet BB 2000 look sleek and modern. The Brondell Swash 1400 has more of a curved back whereas the Bio Bidet 2000 has a straighter back. The Brondell Swash 1400 is 100% white, while the back of the Bio Bidet 2000 has a silver trim. The Brondell Swash 1400 has a hidden pocket on the left side (when facing the unit) where the water hose and the power line are attached. The Bio Bidet BB 2000 has the water hose on the left side (when facing the unit) and the electrical cord on the right side (when facing the unit). Depending where the power outlet is located in your bathroom, this power cord location may be a point to consider.

Minor Differences between Brondell Swash 1400 and Bio Bidet 2000
Some further minor differences include sizing and weight limit. The Bio Bidet BB 2000 has a slightly wider seat and has a higher weight limit of 450 pounds, compared to a 300-pound weight limit of the Swash 1400, so the Bio Bidet BB 2000 is probably a better choice for larger people. Also, regarding the wash itself, the Bio Bidet BB 2000 outputs slightly more water than the Brondell Swash 1400, at 0.7 liters per minute as compared to the Brondell Swash 1400,s 0.5 liters per minute. A higher water output can lead to a more efficient wash, so the higher wash volume of the Bio Bidet BB 2000 may be another valuable point to consider.

The Bio Bidet BB 2000 also offers two washes that the Brondell Swash 1400 does not offer: a pulsating wash and an enema wash. The enema wash is particularly useful for people with medical issues like constipation. The Brondell Swash 1400 may not offer a pulsating wash or an enema wash, but it does offer an adjustable width spray, allowing you to choose between a wide, gentle spray and a narrow, concentrated spay. Also, after you select your spray preferences, temperature preferences, and any other things you desire in your wash, the Brondell Swash 1400 allows up to two people in a household to save their preferences into the remote control as a user pre-set. That means all the user has to do is sit down and press a button on the remote and voila, the bidet knows their preferences. This pre-set feature can be nice if you have more than one person regularly using the bidet and you don’t want to remake several selections every single time you sit down.

Another minor difference: the Brondell Swash 1400 has a lid that you can actually sit atop. The Bio Bidet BB 2000 lid is not made for sitting. So if you’re accustomed to sitting on top of the toilet lid when you trim your nails or do other bathroom grooming, you will want to select the Brondell Swash 1400 because it has a sturdier lid.

A final difference, the Bio Bidet BB 2000 has a better warranty than the Brondell Swash 1400. Both warranties cover three years but the Bio Bidet BB 2000 has better coverage in years two and three than the Brondell Swash 1400.

The Brondell Swash 1400 and the Bio Bidet BB 2000 are both excellent, super high-quality bidets. They do have some minor differences so hopefully this article helped you as you decided which model would be a better match for you.
