Operated with a wireless remote control, the Brondell Swash 1000 offers sleek lines and a contemporary look. Equipped with twin stainless steel nozzles, one nozzle is dedicated for posterior wash while the other nozzle is dedicated for feminine wash. Unlike Brondell’s previous generation models, the wash nozzles on the Brondell Swash 1000 are completely adjustable so you can find the nozzle position that best suits your body.
There are several other upgrades as well. Activate the “Move” feature which moves the nozzle back and forth beneath you, widening the cleaning area. Adjustable spray-width controls allow you to choose between a wider, softer spray or a more narrow, concentrated spray. The nozzle sterilization feature uses a powerful silver oxide nano particle treatment system which effectively sterilizes the wash nozzles. And unlike other models with a flimsy lid, you'll find a study lid that’s strong enough for you to sit on.
Other features include a warm air dry which helps with residual moisture after washing. You also get a warmed toilet seat which is great during the winter (and can be turned off during the summer months). This unit also comes equipped with an automatic air deodorizer, slow closing seat and lid, and an eco power saving mode which decreases energy consumption when not in use.
Available in white and beige. Also available in 220/240V.
Brondell Swash 1000 Features:
We are pleased to have the Brondell Swash 1000 in our product line up. The Swash 1000 marks a significant upgrade over Brondell’s previous generation model, the Swash 800. We’ve tested and reviewed a lot of bidets, and the Brondell Swash 1000 is one of the top models available today.
For our official write-up of this seat, you can click here: bidetsPLUS' Brondell Swash 1000 Review. But for a summary of quick-hits on this model, you can continue reading below.
Operated with a wireless remote control, the Brondell Swash 1000 works with two stainless steel wash nozzles. One of these nozzles is dedicated for posterior wash, while the other nozzle is dedicated for feminine wash. Nozzle position can be adjusted as well, so you can find the nozzle position that best suits your body. Stainless steel wash nozzles are hard to come by in other models, and are an example of the industry-leading features available in this seat.
Wash features can be further customized. Adjustable spray-width controls allow you to choose between a wider, softer spray or a more narrow, concentrated spray. You can also adjust the water pressure independent of spray-width setting, so find the right combination of settings just for you. Enjoy a continuous warm water wash with its tankless water heating system. Adjustable water temperature is an included feature as well, so you can wash at a comfortable and relaxing temperature.
Non-wash features include a warm air dryer, which helps fan away excess moisture remaining after your wash. There is also a built-in air deodorizer which removes unwanted odor and freshens up your bathroom. The temperature-controlled, heated toilet seat is another popular feature. And the power saving mode decreases energy consumption when not in use.
This bidet seat also has a lid you can sit on. This is a rare feature, as you can’t sit on the lid of most other bidet seats in our store. The lid and seat are soft-closing as well, so no more slamming toilet seats!
With all of these features, you can see why this model is at the top of the class. We hope you’ve learned more about the Brondell Swash 1000.

Great product; short power cord
Posted by Dennis Palmer on 29th Aug 2018
This is a great product with great features. The ONLY problem with it is that the power cord is too darn short ! It is only 3.5 feet long. That is ridiculous. I have a GFI outlet just to the left of my toilet but the cord won't reach because it is attached to the RIGHT side of the Swash 1000 and won't reach around the back of the toilet to the outlet. The cord should be at least 6 feet long. C'mon Brondell - you need to fix that.
Bidet good for men

We really do like the Brondell Swash 1000, all the features, the remote control. However, I'm (and the other females that have tried it out) disappointed that the front nozzle just doesn't go far enough to the front. The designer has failed on addressing female anatomy. The front stream might as well be the back one. I've tried all of the front positions. This is my first bidet, maybe they're all like that. For this amount of money it's a bit disappointing. The dryer is ok, seems like it would take a long time sitting there to get dry.
When the going gets tough, the tough gets going!

As an Infantryman for 20 years, I've never used a bidet. When she first asked if I wanted a bidet, I thought it was a new sandwich at Arby's. My wife convinced me to get this Brondell Swash 1000 and ever since, the bad stuff has been left behind... no pun intended. Pretty easy to install, fitted well in our existing toilet. Installed it back July 2017 and haven't had any weird noises, leaks, no problemo. Remote works well and very responsive. From pressure adjustments to temperature settings really easy to operate and suit me and my wife's preferences. Dryer works as mentioned. But honestly, don't use it as much preferring the old fashioned hand held blow dryer. Now the manual does mention having a dedicated 120v outlet for the bidet and I think that's mainly for safety purposes. I say this because after installing the bidet, I wanted to see if it will run fine using an extension to an existing outlet from the bedroom. And it worked just fine, no problems or circuit breakers getting tripped. I looked at the power requirements and can understand the reason. I had all the lights on in the bedroom, TV going, radios blasting, fans at full speed and using the bidet...everything worked fine. So my point? if you don't really want to pay an electrician to install an outlet right close to your bidet, then you can run an extension cord, but of course...there's that "CORD" in the way when you use the bathroom. Also, if you wanted to piggy-back from the existing outlet from the bedroom i think it would be possible. But for safety purposes, I went ahead and got an electrician to install a dedicated outlet for the bidet with a GFCI.
That's about it. To this day, we haven't regretted the purchase of this particular bidet. I don't know about the others and probably have more features for the price, but every time we use the bathroom, this product is right behind us, because at times, when the going gets tough.....this tough little guy....gets going and gets it done.....squeaky clean at that!!!!!!

Greatest bidet ever. Hands down. Use it regularly. Not when I use the bathroom. Just when I want some alone time. If you were neglected as a child look no further, this bidet has all the answers you need. Dad didn't love you? Well this bidet sure will. Never loved a human as much as I love the Brondell 1000 after some firey taco bell. Recently went to the vip lounge at a raptors game and vince carter actually escorted me to his personal Brondell 1000 and it changed my outlook on watery butt cleaning products forever....
Brondell Swash 1000

Completely handsfree. I've noticed pronounced decrease in use of standard toilet paper. Outstanding addition to a bathroom remodel. I'm starting the remodel on second bathroom and will definitely install a Swash 1000 or 1400

Purchased the unit for elderly parents, who needed assistance with maintain privacy and cleanliness... seems to be a great assistance. Unit does everything stated, and install was easy and convenient, you will need a local power source with GFI circuit. Also, great feature in seat cover, that can be used as a supportive seat, very sturdy and sure.

I love this bidet. Work like a charm.

This product solved my problem caused by a physical disability. Unit is sturdy and self cleaning. This was the only unit that allowed the user to sit on the lid. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is our second Brondell Swash 1000. We love this bidet, it has all the bells & whistles you could want & I find I miss my bidet when we're away from home. I would also like to say that I have had only positive experiences with BidetsPlus (Thanks, Jensen!)-they are well informed and easy to work with.
Posted by Mike on 1st Mar 2017
First, THE BEST customer service I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Second, the Brondell is built with superior craftsmanship. I was totally surprised- easy install- built to last! Lastly, do not hesitate to purchase this bidet as I did, you will not be disappointed. I usually am quite reserved, but have informed my friends and family about my experience and what they are missing. Thanks bidetsPLUS.
Love this bidet

Didn't know how enjoyable a trip to the bathroom could be until we got our new Brondell Swash 1000. Being a little older we seemed to use more paper than we use to. I think the toilet paper savings alone will nearly pay for our Swash 1000 within a couple of years. This is a great product. very comfortable, easy to use, easy to install.

Good for your health. Every family must have a bidet.
Great investment for you and the wife
Posted by Lonedove on 27th Aug 2016
Wow. Where have I been. This is 21st Century stuff. The second best investment I ever made was this Brondell 1000. The 1st and best investment is my bed. A close second is this bidet. You need a plug near the toilet/bidet. I waited way to long to figure this one out. Hope you enjoy yours soon. I wish I could own stock in this product because business will be good for these bidets. I read lots of technical reviews and this model it the one to own if you can afford it. If not buy a Brondell model 900. Best wishes and I like me some clean tail!
Posted by Kim on 6th Jul 2016
I discovered the benefits of a bidet quite a while ago. Last year we bought a seat attachment that just delivered a cold water wash, which I was glad to have. When we remodeled our master bathroom I knew I wanted an upgrade. After much research, I chose the Swash 1000. I love it. All of the reviews were right. The things that sold me were the heated seat, the stainless steel nozzles, the different temperature and pressure settings, the built-in deodorizer, the sterilizer and the dryer. It has every feature I wanted. bidetsPlus had the best pricing and was easy to work with.
When our seat arrived the packaging marked "Fragile" was pretty beat up. I sent bidetsPlus an email and got a quick response from Mark. Unfortunately with our remodel the seat wasn't installed until 4 months later and past our 30 day trial. Two days after being installed it stopped working. I contacted Mark again and he was very helpful but thought we should talk to Brondell directly. We called Brondell customer service and worked with Matt Broom. Our seat was still under warranty and it was replaced quickly and easily. We couldn't have asked for better customer service from bidetsPlus and Brondell. The new seat has been installed now for several weeks. I can't imagine not having it.
Swash 1000 is a winner
Posted by happy_user_in_san_jose on 26th May 2016
Very happy customer! I have had this product for about 6 weeks now, and it has lived up fully to my expectations and the favorable reviews. It feels like a "butt spa" and we are really enjoying it!
Installation was a breeze once I got an electrical outlet installed nearby. The messiest aspect is removing your old toilet seat, as there is always some crud collected underneath the bolts holding it in place - use some latex gloves! As many have noted, the water feed connects under the water cistern, making for an easy connection w/o any water leaks. It is a good idea to check the toilet dimensions before hand to make sure they fall within the specified ranges for the Brondell. And remember to flush your toilet before disconnecting the water line!
The seat functions as expected, and the wash and dry features are easy to control. Me and my spouse are able to use the wash features without adjusting nozzle position, so it has not been an issue for us (the fact that nozzle position cannot be stored and must be set each time). Wash pressure seems adequate, and IMO the spray width and back/forth movement options are must have features. The drying feature is a definite plus, as I have another seat without it and you do get up dripping unless you use a lot of toilet paper to dry yourself. With one cycle of drying, The seat is beautifully styled, and much more comfortable to sit on than the basic toilet seats we replaced.
A couple of mild negatives - the controls can be slightly confusing when you first see them, and it can be hard to keep track of the different LED colors; however, all this becomes a lot clearer after you have used it a couple of times, and maybe read the manual one more time. I did not find the lack of an LCD display to be an issue, and in fact like the compact size of the remote control.
Overall - a great product, and I would highly recommend it if you don't mind spending $600.
Save a lot of paper
Posted by Kevin on 31st Mar 2016
I've had mine for several days. Installation was easy - getting the old toilet seat OFF was more trouble than installing the Swash 1000. Fitting was effortless. It works very well. I find that a plastic seat is never cold, so I turned off the heating element to save electricity. Tried it a couple of times, tinkering with the settings, until I found the combo that works best for me, and haven't changed anything since. Water is room-temp (not pipe temperature) for the first half-second or so, then immediately reaches desired warmth. Volume and pressure and spray patterns are all good. The blow dryer takes a couple of minutes, but does a good job as well. The ONLY issues I've noticed, and they are minor, are:
- the housing and the seat shape intrudes a little on the bowl opening, meaning that, with the seat down the opening is slightly smaller than with the original (non-bidet) seat. Still works fine, even at my size..... ahem...
- the butt-sensing element in the seat seems to be a little haphazard - so I disabled it; this means that the bidet functions can run without anybody on the seat, but I just make it a point to not press any buttons unless I'm seated. Not an issue for me. Someday I might re-activate the lockout and see if there's a defect, or if I was just doing something wrong when the unit was new. No big deal, and certainly not going to subtract any stars for this excellent product.
A Better Bidet
Posted by Rob on 11th Mar 2016
The Swash was a replacement for a 3 year old Intelliseat that was losing its water power and occasionally leaked overflow water. We have lots of minerals in our water, so any bidet may do that sooner or later. This seat is much superior in both water pressure and comfort (aerated water), and I also love the tankless heated water. My only small complaint is the long time from button press to water flow.
Cant live without it
Posted by Hap on 24th Feb 2016
We now have five of these units in our family, and I cannot feel clean unless I use a bidet. I have used larger, stand alone units in Europe, but there is no room for a large unit in the bathrooms in my house. The Brondell Swash seats are the perfect solution. I am trying to get all of my in-laws to install the seats so that I don't suffer when I visit. When I remodeled my bathrooms, I installed ground fault outlets dedicated to the bidet seat. This is my second review of a great product. .
Best On The Market
Posted by Selene on 9th Jan 2016
Having done a lot of research, I settled on the Swash 1000, and was not disappointed. Unlike other products with a lot of bells and whistles, the Brondell has only features that are useful and work well. Though the shipper had banged the box around, the interior packaging saved it. I was able to install it myself in less than an hour with just a small channel locks and a crescent wrench. The electrical connection was a bit more difficult requiring me to remove a tile, but I was able to tie into a little used existing 20 amp circuit; so I did not have to create a dedicated circuit.
The improved hygiene the bidet provides ultimately saves on water, because it cuts down on my need for so many full baths. And, now that it is winter, the heated seat is nice as well!

I consider this one of the best "investments" I made in 2015 (the other was a Toto Drake elongated toilet). My wife didn't think she'd use the bidet much at first, but six months later she's completely sold. This is without a doubt a big plus in our home. I'm 65 and am not as agile as I used to be, so this has proven itself to be a wonderful addition.

This seat is everything we had hoped for. Installation was simple and only took a short time.
A Better Way
Posted by Neil Flynn on 22nd Dec 2015
I purchased the Brondell Swash 1000 after reading the ads and watching the you tube videos for many different brands of bidets. I chose it for the pricing, the features, and ease of installation. I am a 73 year old man, and between my sagging cheeks, gaining weight, and not being as nimble as I once was, I decided it was a better way to get clean after a BM. I found Bidets Plus as an alternate vendor on Amazon.com. The price was better, the 30 day return policy, as well as the free gifts made up my mind. My wife and I both appreciate the comfort and cleaning action of the warm water. We also feel like trend setters since no one we know has even tried a bidet.
Posted by Ginger on 23rd Nov 2015
I love my bidet. I think everyone should have one. It's much more sanitary and refreshing than using dry paper, and they haven't really made the wet papers flushable....and besides, the luxury of warm seat, warm water, and warm air just plain feels good!
Easy transaction, fast shipping, great seat!
Posted by Fiona on 16th Nov 2015
This was the absolutely easiest online transaction ever. The Brondell Swash 1000 bidet was shipped the same day as ordering and arrived 2 days later. Installation of the Brondell Swash 1000 was very easy. Everything functions as indicated. I LOVE this bidet, it is the best, don't know why I waited so long to get one. It may be pricey for some. However, I compared this product with others for features, style, ease of use, reputation, warranty and decided the right price was right for everything previously stated.

I bought a bidet for medical reasons. I bought the Swash 1000 because of the features it offered and the wonderful reviews. This is a great product. It does everything it advertises. Yes, it's expensive...but worth it! Now, I will always have a Brondell on my toilet, medical problem or not!

Best money I've spent in years. Every toilet in America should have one on it. Only reason they don't, they have never tried one. I had to, health issues. Wish I would have had one years ago. Brondell Swash 1000 is awesome.

I have wanted a bidet forever. My husband always found a reason not to get me one, I finally just order one. The web site is easy to use, to compare products, arrived in short time, in good shape. My son installed the bidet in 20 minutes. My husband said don't tell the kids but I love the bidet, I don't have to use all that toilet paper, I should have let you get it years ago.
Keeping the Wife (and me) happy!

When we downsized from a very large house to a small townhouse, my wife did not want to go without a bidet. Realizing the cost to remodel the bathroom in the townhouse would be too much, we decided to try this Brondell 1000 bidet. Exceptional product, very comfortable seat (too comfy, maybe?!). The water pressure is good, and the dryer is awesome.

We have had the swash 1000 for a month now and we both like it a lot. Leaves us feeling cleaner then before. Will definitely recommend it and bidets plus.
Job well done Brondell!!

Been using the Swash 1000 for 1 month now and it is indeed an amazing bidet. Intelligent design and perfect user interface. It simply does the entire job 100% perfectly all the time. The quality of the bidet is solid and the soft close seat and covers are truly value added. This is a smart buy!! Thank you Brondell and of course thank you BidetsPlus!!
Posted by Susie P on 24th Jun 2015
Chose this because of experience in Japan and after researching variety of US units available. Wanted something that was not terribly obtrusive; hence this one with remote control and a power switch. Find that with two dry (2-min) dry cycles, I no longer need TP. It's a joy
Rarely felt so clean

I'd spent some time researching bidet seats online, reading reviews, watching videos, etc., and letting it all sink in. Finally settled on the Brondell Swash 1000 through Bidetsplus.com, and couldn't be more happy with the purchase. Getting close to 65 years old and not being as nimble and thin as I used to be, I've found this bidet to be the answer to my mounting frustrations. My wife wasn't sure she'd like one in our master bathroom, but quickly changed her mind after using it the first time. I installed it on a new Toto ADA compliant toilet, and now have the perfect solution to one of life's previously least favorite pasttimes. It's both elegant and perfectly functional. The discount and two water filters were icing on the cake. Couldn't ask for more than that.
Can't live without it!

After carefully comparing the different brands and models available, I bought my first one in biscuit color to match my toilet. I gave it a year and a half to assess the product's performance. I was very pleased, so I purchased another one in white. This is an excellent product. It performs all it's functions really well, but my most favorite is the sterilize functionality. This is not available in the other brands or models, even those that cost more. I believe all bidets should have one! This bidet has everything you need for your personal hygiene, except a soap squirter. If they come up with one, I'll be the first to go for an upgrade.
Very good bidet

After doing extensive research, I chose the Brondell 1000 and am very happy I did. It takes some adjusting to get used to (for preference reasons), but short of showering, I have never felt cleaner! Now, I will ALWAYS use this product. Although some family members won't admit it, they want to try it, and I wouldn't be surprised if they also buy one.

This bidet makes toilet use a comfortable pleasure for everyone in the family. Easy to install, a joy to use, beautiful to look at, easy to maintain. All of this and a health aid at the same time.
Affordable luxury- you owe it to yourself!

Thee Brondell Swash 1000 is the best bidet that I have ever tried. I have used bidets since 1992 and have tried 3-4 different brands, some with just cold water, and at least one that provided warm water wash and warm air drying.
The entire Brondell product line has extremely high quality, and all products are both beautiful to look at and a joy to use. I bought their top of the line model because it was most likely to fit my odd design one piece, French Curve toilet. The Swash 1000 did fit exactly, and works exactly as the advertisements claim. Perfect in every regard!
Installation was EASY- took me an hour. You do not need a plumber- the instructions are very clear and all installation part are included.
Bidetsplus.com is an excellent dealer for Brondell and many other bidet brands. Their return policy is excellent (many vendors will NOT allow returns), and bidetsplus.com also throws in some free gifts, like an extra water filter to keep out sediment. Very knowledgeable people who carry virtually everything in the bidet marketplace.
Where has this been all of my life!

What can I say. It is everything advertised and more. Thank goodness I decided to take the leap and buy this. Life won't be the same - and that is not a bad thing.

Between us, the inlaws, and our ski home, we now have six Swash 1000's as well as an older Swash and a Toto Bidet Seat. Price for what you get has us repurchasing the Swash again and again. It does everything we need and everybody that tries it wants one for their own bathroom.

We first purchased the Bio Bidet 600, 5 years ago, because it was so inexpensive. We loved it, but this Brondell Swash 1000 is a HOME RUN! I love the auto-sterilization, front and rear sprayers and the remote control. Going to have a Bidet Party to show my lady friends in March. Make the investment, you won't be disappointed and the savings in toilet paper will pay for it!

This product is addictive. Once you begin enjoying the warm seat, the slow close lid and seat, and the remote control that allows you to control more features than a person could want, you can never go back to paper. Trust me, I have three of these units in the family.

I had wanted a bidet after living in Europe many years ago, but had no space in my bathroom. This fall, while visiting Paris, I learned about the bidet seat concept, which lets you have both toilet and bidet functions in a single space. When we returned I started my search and ended up with the Brondell Swash.
We had a round seat toilet, so first I ordered the round version. My husband was not comfortable with the round version--it was small for him, but Bidetsplus let us exchange the round for an elongated seat (yes, we replaced our toilet with an elongated version) The end result: comfort for the both of us, and the cleanliness that I really love.

Ah, the joys of a gentle clean!
Posted by Alice on 23rd Dec 2014
I've had one of these for about 2 years, and love it. However, my original suddenly stopped working and is out for repairs. Hence I ordered a new one (still in the box, on sale) until I see if my old one can be fixed (same model, still under warranty.) Cleaner and more thorough than using toilet paper, and if you've had surgery or other "issues" it is a much gentler way of getting clean. I haven't been impressed with the dryer - it isn't terribly effective. I also can't get good positioning from the frontal nozzle. However, over all, I love my unit, and miss it when I'm traveling!
The New Necessity..
Posted by Mike on 10th Nov 2014
I came across bidet seats online and did a ton of research on different models, customer experiences, etc. This unit seemed to have the best overall ratings, satisfaction, and features for the price, and what little issues people did have with the units the manufacturer was very responsive and stood behind the product. All that said, I've had the unit installed for about a month, and it's working flawlessly. My wife is even using it. It was a bit weird not reaching for TP at first, but after a couple of weeks of daily use, I'm a true believer.. I'll likely be buying a second unit for my kids bathroom soon as well!
Everything I hoped it would be

I spent the better part of a half year researching bidets. I researched fitment, I researched features, I researched how to read reviews of fitment and features - suffice to say I read every detail I could get my hands on.
This unit does what you'd expect - it cleans thoroughly, but it has some nice features as well.
First - the highly adaptable fitting bracket actually works extremely well. I was skeptical about it, but I have a American Standard Champion 4 toilet and just about every bidet was too big for its larger tank design. The bracket worked like a charm.
Second - the child safety feature is really nice. The Swash 1000 will not activate the spray without someone seated on the seat. You can disable this if you really wanted to, but it's not obvious how to do so, and in that sense it's really child proof. No worries about a kid soaking the room with the bidet.
Third - The variable air temperature on the dryer is a very nice touch. My girlfriend barely uses toilet paper at all with the frontal wash because the warm air dryer makes it nearly completely unnecessary.
Fourth - The deoderizer really does work. I used to burn through a bottle of Febreeze every week. Now the Febreeze is all but completely unnecessary.
Fifth - and perhaps my favorite part - the actual washing arms are stainless steel instead of plastic. This presents a product that seems far more sanitary than ones that use plastic.
Very well built bidet
